smittybilt xl can def handle 2 adults & 2 kids. I believe it's in between a queen & king size bed. it's a lotta bang for the buck.

Not sure what the complaints are about the ladder but it's fine. Not sure what an upgrade would be or what it would accomplish. IIRC, i have read that rungs can be hard on bare feet? Maybe a little padding of some sort for bare feet?
I did buy some skid tape but haven't applied it to the rungs...
corners & 8' footers would be my first preference but also being able to incorporate 30° and 60° angles would be great too. so for me being able to custom design around separate pieces would be awesome. I'm more interested in the trail dog type ground up vs. a tub start
thanks again for keeping...
"In other news... I've been contacted recently by two parties who have expressed interest in bringing the TrailTop components to market. Neither has fiberglass manufacturing experience so they'd be outsourcing the molding work to a fiberglass shop; both have expressed interest in packaging...
16 gallon on board that gets refilled with 4 seven gallon jugs as needed. only used for washing, showers etc. I toss a little bleach in if they're stored for while.
drinking water is usually couple gallons of store bought spring water.

picked up a Blackstone 22" griddle set from Walmart this summer and we love it. cook just about everything on it, Japanese steakhouse to waffle House and everything in between. Walmart has the 22 with hood and stand for a great price.

whatcha gonna use seams? roof and side wall. trim over silicone caulk? I can never find the trim seal piece that I see on nicely done trailers. I know it's probably a standard rv product or maybe custom by shop.

I do like the skudo material being a bit sturdier & ridged than regular coraplast. Coraplast will probably be just fine and alot easier to source.

I'm referring to a simple 5k -8k btu home window units (~$100+) with a sheet metal fabbed shroud with supply/return flex duct or semi perm mounted unit thru the wall that you can slide in when needed. Of course, they run by genny or shore but they're super cheap esp. end of season and some...
I have zero experience but I've heard complaints about roof mounted a/c units and the noise levels. Personally fond of separate standard a/c units (5-10k btu) that are piped into the camper and used as needed. Fall/spring/winter camping just leave it at home. Pretty easy to add ports and duct...
How did you find it on ebay? Where are the % discounts on ebay? Curious mind want to know bro, pm if you don't mind. Great deal.
I'll probably pull the trigger on costway if I don't get a wynter 65qt. The costway is great price and smaller footprint for my needs. I've seen the costway as a...
