So I've been looking for a portable solar panel for a while. Was wanting to get the Renolgy suitcase but they seem to be out of stock all the time.
I ran across this one from Eco Worthy. I can't seem to find many reviews outside of Amazon. I am looking to use this when camping in the high...
We have a pair of Sea Eagle kayaks. We can get everything into them without much of an issue. We can have our's packed and unpacked within 15 minutes each. They are great to take out with our kids. Last year we paddled in the Gulf of California while in Mexico and around Whidbey Island in WA...
The patch kit for $19 is a JOKE!
That is a bike patch kit that can be had for about $3 bucks at any bike shop.
So with that being said...if they are willing to charge 6x for a patch kit, I would guess that the tent should be about $150
Just food for thought. I was able to purchase an Edgestar 43qt fridge for $400 shipped to my house. We looked at both the Yeti and Pelican cooler but for the extra money the fridge made for a great purchase. It can be plugged in to 110v in the garage for double duty. As much as we have used it...
Thanks for the imput. But the deserts of CO, UT and AZ are a bit different than Saudi Arabia. There is little sand and lots of rock, clay and pokey things. I might just need to bring a cordless drill with a big ol' bit to get something started then break out the sledge hammer to push it down.
Hello,
I am wondering if anyone has found some different feet for the ARB/CVT/Ironman awnings that allow you to stake it down? Mine currently have the little point that you can push into the grass but that doesn't help much when we are in the desert camping.
I know the guy lines help with this...
We just got home from a 15 day PNW trip from Colorado. We camped 10 of those nights, 1 night of hotel and stayed with family on the other 4. We stayed in state parks and national parks.
In the spring we invested in a 43qt fridge and it has been the best purchase in years. Cold drinks, food...
Grouper, love your build. I have an 8 and 4 YO so I understand the pain of travelling and looking at a larger platform. We pretty much look like the Clampets rolling down the road with kayaks, wolf pack boxes, gas and Treds on the roof and the back full of stuff.
Do you have some other pics of...
I mounted my Treds on my Garvin roofrack with U bolts on both ends.
I have also seen people carry them in their trasharoo's. They have cut the seam in the back so them can still close the flap.
What about mounting them on the side of your roofrack?
I have been using the 2 gallon Rotopax setup. Place one on each side of the backseat of my FJC. Kids can stand on them, they stay cool and the water always taste right. Deals can be had on them if you look around. I got mine at High Country 4x4 here in Denver for $40 each...
So after doing some research and talking with some buddies that have this I pulled the trigger today.
Pepboys have them on sale at $100, usually at $119. But they also have a code for 25 to 30% off. Ordered online and payed at the store.
Picked one up for $87 dollars today. Will be peace of...
