    High Mileage Pentastar JKs?

I have 160k on my early '12, its still running well. Only issues so far have been a head that was under warranty at 75k and an oil filter housing at 145k. At least the filter housing is easy to do. :P Mine has a six speed and other than driving it super super hard all the time (and having to do...

2000 Suburban K1500 budget low lift with 37"s

Gotcha. We've run ours with it and with out it. It works REALLY well off road with the sway bar off, so much that I'm trying to figure out how to make some disconnects for it. We ran it swaybar less for a few months on the road and it did really well and had a lot less body roll then we were...

    My 02 Avalanche NFE

Woof, I can see how that process would get mired down with the alphabet soup agencies. I'm planning another trip out there in March, so I'll hit you up before that. On a different note, who did the front bumper on your truck? We've been looking for one for our '03 Sierra and there are no...

    My 02 Avalanche NFE

Really cool seeing the article on the Mojave! Really curious if you have any off line .gpx files for any of that... Anyways, sorry to hear about the old truck giving it up, but it did its job keeping ya safe.

How good can a full-size solid axle suspension be?

Interesting thread. My dad recently picked up a '04 f350 4x4 and the suspension is shot on it so this is some interesting stuff to look at. Granted he doesn't go fast, but its still a big truck and its a lot of weight to move around and control.

Love it! Keep on it with the welding and you'll get better. gotta practice though! I'm a fairly bad welder but its something i'm working on... some of our truck projects are going to help with that, heh. The avi front looks good on there, just make sure to rust coat everythinggggg. The...

2000 Suburban K1500 budget low lift with 37"s

You have to have 17" wheels with the larger brakes, yeah? I'm looking into this for our Sierra...

Hey Vortec Guys! / Sierra pickup / Suburban / Yukon etc - Finally has Index!

Any of the GMT800 mafia upgrade your alternators? Ours is in good shape still, but its something I've been thinking about as my partner wants to put an inverter and fridge in her truck and its going to be getting a GMRS radio n stuff.

Anybody else want a small USEABLE 4X4?

Yeah, its something we saw. Its a jeep, I expect dumb stuff like this to occur. Luckily greasing a drive shaft isn't hard. Be it a repezza joint or the spines on the shaft or whatever.

Anybody else want a small USEABLE 4X4?

My partner considered trying to find a jeep MJ for that reason, but we're going to be going the Gladiator route instead.

Thoughts on the Edelbrock supercharger for JK

The NSG370 is the biggest factor in the general slow "feel" of the JK's, IMO. That said, I have 4.56's in my JKU and ran it that way for a year+ with 33's and it was fantastic. I didn't have to downshift for anything, First gear wasn't ever really used because you could just let the clutch in...

Thoughts on the Edelbrock supercharger for JK

Gears, esp if you have larger tires at all on it. If I had 6k to spend on jeep stuff I'd be focusing on driveability, suspension and comfort.
