I think he's referring to the black object gathered together with the other fuel line on the right. that looks to be a squeeze bulb type fuel primer common with earlier outboard motors for boats...

Makes more sense now. Basically from what I'm reading though, the primary purpose for these pumps was to allow the designers to put the fuel tank lower than the carburetor. Now that makes sense.
The pickup tube in the larger fuel tank will still have to be at the bottom in order for all the...
Now I'm really confused. Most fuel pumps create a vacuum to draw fuel in.
A variation on a fuel pump would be a pressure pump that pressurizes the fuel tank. But that would not be a very good idea as any sudden rupture of the tank would create an atomized fuel spray that would be extremely...
I'm not sure how that's supposed to work. I'm pretty sure these types of generators are simply gravity feed to the carburetor. As such, it would need any extended range fuel tank to be gravity fed to the cap. But the picture on the listing seems to show the hose extending below the tank as it...
Do you have a picture of your gas cap modification that you could post. I want to expand the duration beyond the onboard tank on my generator.

I bought a pair of champion 2000's from Sam's Club back about 6 years ago when they first came out. At the time, they seemed to have been very well made and they were exceptionally quiet and smooth. But, two of them tied together in parallel could not carry my single A/C unit on my toy hauler...
"Depends on a few things. That 22a@108v is at 108v - it will be a few less amps at 120v."
The generator doesn't see amps it sees power demands (watts). It will likely have a few less amps at a higher voltage BUT that will still be close to the same in power requirements.
"Unless you've got a...
In looking at the specs for the DLS-90, it can be seen that it may pull as much as 22 amps continuous. I'm conjecturing then that is when it's at its 90 AMP Peak output voltage DC? The data sheet suggests that it will always charge at the highest initially and then 3-step down from there, so...
Oops! I looked again. I dropped a zero in that translation... lol! And yes, that would be some big battery bank...

Unfortunately, not even close. At 1750 W, the Dometic (or your 15 amp AC) is pulling approx. 15 amps CONTINUOUS and 20+ amps SURGE (during every compressor start). Your inverter is only good for MAX of 8 amps CONTINUOUS and approx. 11.5 amps SURGE.
I run a 3000 CONTINUOUS (max. of 25 amps) /...
I am wondering if the allowance suppliers are making for their non-ethanol fuels is due to cross-contamination from transporting in tanks and using delivery hoses that are being used for ethanol fuels at other times...

That's the Predator 3500. They also have a predator 2000 parallel generator. You can shop Apples to Apples on that...

I'm actually waiting for the 3500 Predator to go on sale again. I need to buy a second one to parallel and give me 7kw for my mobile shop setup. When you consider the cost savings of the HD Predators versus Yamahas or Hondas x2 the numbers are pretty big...
