Best Safari style shirt for Expedition and Casual wear

Since this thread just got bumped up, thought I'd chime in again with a new recommendation. While not branded as Safari (or Overland....), more to boat life, they are super high quality, very durable, wicked comfortable and not made in China. Check out: Atlanticrancher.com I own their...

    MotionX HD Still viable?

Yup, agreed I have run it too. Started with it 8 years ago but MX was better back then. But the new version is really great. I'm looking for info on MX to migrate about 100 routes I've mapped off an old iPad, but no more support from the parent company :(

Best Safari style shirt for Expedition and Casual wear

I have owned a lot of TAD shirts (due to sizing challenge), and, IMO, they are "flattery sized"....About half a size big. I.e same phenomena how my curvatous niece's jean size keeps getting lower but her curves keep getting, well, curvier....) I'm 5-11, 200# 45" chest, 36" waist and XL...

    MotionX HD Still viable?

Any Motionx geeks out there? Question.... I've been running MXHD for about 7 years and recently went to upgrade and most recent version seems to be 2014.... Am just not seeing the most current version or is it no longer being supported by parent company? Thnx

    8.25R16C Michelin XZL

Compared to any good radial MT, they are horrendous tires. XZLs a highly coveted in the LR Defender community but they are for show only, as they are NATO and MOD spec. I bought a set of wolf wheels (mil spec) for my LR Series 2A and XZL came with so I tried them out. Yes, super rugged, like...

Livin' Lite Quicksilver series, feedback welcome

So, I have run many many different types of deployable/furlable type sleeping devices over the years and the 6.0, IMO, doesn't even hit the PITA list. Time to full deploy, from arranging it to ready to set up bedding, is approximately 20 minutes; including screen room set up. That include...

    Pop up trailer?

so, it been a while, but I picked up a used QS 6.1 last week. Pretty much half a full sized pop-up. Perfect for me and GF. 2012 for $3K, very low entry cost. This will be for base camping not for wheeling & exploring. Its very well built and "off road" capable package, well we'll see...

Livin' Lite Quicksilver series, feedback welcome

So, I've researching pop up tent type trailers for a while. The quality and features of what I'm looking for are out of my budget ( >$20,000) And what I have found within my budget (<$10,000), for the most part is junk. Sure I've love a new Crux 2700, but also need a new roof on the...
