I'm looking to practice splicing, that's all. Hopefully I never need to deploy the skill but its nice to have the ability. I would also like to try my hand at making some soft shackles to throw in the recovery bag.

If anyone has used sections of winch line or perhaps a spool that is too short to be used on a winch, I would be interested in taking it off your hands - especially if its just going in the trash. Prefer Amsteel 12 strand. Thank you!
