Very cool Generally its a 12v system with two batteries, one for starting and the other for everything else. I bought a 1KD to stuff in my 4Runner, hopefully I can start the project this fall.

Just completed the SAS using 4Wheel Underground 3-Link, couldn't be happier with the road manners and offroad capability. poser

So u bend the sch 40 pipe with the bumper steel.

So they are fiberglass, with a steel underpinnings...interesting, and they are just as pricey as steel bumpers...haha. I like the lightweight of them. so are you going to lay down 1/4" of glass? I've only done glass repair, and never from a 'mold/form'. I am guessing there are some reinforcement...

Glad to see you are going to tackle a front bumper with the swap-able winch mount concept. I have been wrestling with bumper designs for a few weeks now. Nothing on 'paper', but i want it to look similar to my rear bumper/tire carrier. I have a build on yotatech with some pics of the carrier...

Funny, when i was reading your thread i immediately thought of the thread you referenced. Looks nice. I did this.. Mainly because i want them hidden so when i park the truck without a top, they are stealthy, and i can hear them great, as well as my passengers. I haven't finished the interior...

Uh...real cool? I need to see more of this design. I have my rear hitch/tire carrier/bumper almost finished, and going to start on the front. I'm relocating my batteries under the truck, and while i'm at it, wire for a rear winch quick-disconnect i'm thinking.
