I found a shadow 600 for cheap and bought that to learn on, it's nice and under powered. I really regret not getting a KLR, or some other dual sport, but I think this is for the better right now. I'm hoping to get enough riding time on it this season so that I feel comfortable getting something...

I was ready to buy today, went down and ride it and kinda scared my self so I chickened out. Now I'm thinking I need to start it with a smaller bike.

I'm going to go look at it this week, so any tips for what to look at would be appreciated.

The thing about dual sports around here is we don't have too many places to ride them, mainly just dirt roads. Most of the ones I have seen in the past have pretty low miles. There's not much more than corn in Indiana.

No lift kit comes with any thing for the steering, except for maybe a trac bar, so you would have that issue with any lift. I'm pretty disappointed with this news, as I was hoping to upgrade my 3.5" springs to 4.5" springs.

It's the circle in the center, I've only seen it on 97 xjs and tjs.

Why does it have the 97 steering wheel?
