Mercedes Gelaenewagen Sales Folder Brochure Literature Europa International Rare

This is an original sales folder I received during a visit to Europa International in Santa Fe, NM in the late 90's looking to buy a truck. I ended up buying a Land Cruiser, but spent the better part of a day at Europa looking at and driving trucks, talking to the staff, etc. I will never...

    Tonight's Dinner Will Consist Of........

Homemade pizza! I like to use the dough and sauce recipes from www.pizzatherapy.com. I always mix it up as far as toppings. Last night a tossed on fresh sliced mushrooms, onions and pepperoncinis, as well as pepperoni and sausage. It was good!

    Any other Vegans?

Great post which has started me thinking about becoming vegetarian, or maybe pescetarian? I reeeaallly need to modify my eating/drinking habits. I travel a lot and entertain clients 2 - 4 times each month who expect a nice steakhouse. I grew up in the Midwest where you eat meat with nearly...

    Really want a Disco II

Definitely would be stock until I understand what it "needs." My 100 series LC was very capable right out of the box. I would expect the same from a Disco. Prob do OME lift, tires and rock sliders after a while, but not much else until required. First and foremost would be catching up on PM...

    Really want a Disco II

Great info everyone, keep it coming! So intake and head gaskets are an issue. I can deal with that. I read here somewhere oil pumps can be a problem? I also read the factory diffs are weak? What about complex electronic issues that can be costly and leave you stranded?

    Really want a Disco II

Thanks for the info so far. For the price, it seems hard to go wrong with a Disco? An 04 Land Cruiser is $10k more!? I find it hard to justify the difference even having owned a LC?
