Two Bob's Heart of the West 2014

We're there any sections that the Jeep could not follow on? I'd like to do something similar in my Tacoma. Thanks for the awesome posts. Living in Florida you don't find long views unless your on the coast. But you can see all the miles of pine trees you ever want.

I would say no as ditch lights, I have a set of rigid d2 dually lights as ditch lights, there is no comparison. To be fair the price is also not comparable. I have yet to see one in the spot pattern however. The throw seems most useful at closer distances like one would see in camp.

I used this light camping this weekend and I really loved it. I do observe that it is a great camp light but would seem useless for driving, at least in the flood pattern.

What vehicles make the best Expedition platforms?

I've owned dodge, Nissan, ford, Toyota, Jeep, chevy and gmc trucks. In recent years a 2013 JKU lifted on 285/75/17's, it got 22 mpg at 60 mph, looked cool and would carry nearly nothing. 1100 pound cargo capacity before mods. A 2014 four runner trail edition, 22 mpg at 60mph, has gone everywhere...

I will wind up with Anderson connectors also. I used some antenna rotor wire that I had, its very flexible. I will build a set of connectors with battery clips, a cigarette lighter plug and mabey a USB, given the low draw. Pretty much a ham radio connector type kit. Rigid claims .85 amps at 14v...

    Rigid Industries Ignite led

It's here, pics inside I received the light today, here are my impressions. Standard all metal rigid construction and design. About one foot of 24ga wire with pigtail ends. One mount, which appears to be as good as or better than a GoPro mount. One bolt to secure said mount to light and one...

Does anyone here know where to get the two strand, black jacketed wire that Rigid uses on their lights? I can't find any jacked wire locally that is comparable.

    Sika 715 users??

Get some trempro 635, used in the manufacture or aluminum Rv's this stuff is tuff but makes a permanent seal. Read up online and see for yourself. Does not crack over time. I am using it in my restoration of a vintage camper. http://www.vintagetrailersupply.com/TremPro-635-Sealant-p/vts-267.htm

    Rigid Industries Ignite led

Anyone have any experience with this product? Looks very interesting and I like the GoPro mount compatability. There is very little info out there on them so I thought I would reach out here. I'm thinking a cigarette lighter plug and the GoPro suction cup mount with the flood pattern would be a...

    console vault alternatives?

Missed the Tundra and read Tacoma my bad. One of the under seat safes I mentioned might be your best bet. I am generally concerned with securing handguns, not sure what you are trying to secure though. One thought is to make a false floor for the compartment. Most burglars are trying to get in...

    console vault alternatives?

I have the same truck and the only thing I can come up with is a safe with a cable to attach to the seat. I may just secure a small ammo can behind the back seat and put a lock on it.
