    WTS Autohome Columbus Small

Pictured on the Jeep that has been replaced with a Tacoma. Have decided to not run a roof tent on the new truck. Autohome Columbus, size small, purchased new about 4-5 years ago... around the time Autohome began putting the stretch cord internally to pull the tent sides in when closing, or...

Improving Hwy Manners For Long Trips

It can be done in theory. It's a matter of of how high your Jeep really is. There's a minimum clearance height between axle and frame/motor for all the components to fit. Depending on manufacturer someone may have something that'll work in your case. Synergy and AEV for example, just call...

Improving Hwy Manners For Long Trips

Understood. I basically had the same setup. Just a JKS track bar instead of a Teraflex one. My Jeep, like yours, was paid off when I made the switch as well. But yeah, in term of calming the ride and making the prospect of a long drive more palatable, biggest difference was the flipped...

Improving Hwy Manners For Long Trips

I know one thing that improved drivability significantly was to actually lift my Jeep higher so as to install a lift with a flipped drag link. In my case, switching to the AEV 3.5 with the the flipped drag and relocated track bar made a large change in the drivability/comfort of my Jeep on...

    Mirror relocation question

Depending on the rack and mirror mounts there's no real problem. I had to place the mirror mounts lower so it's not ideal when looking at the passenger side mirror as it's low and the dash is there, but it works. Sent from my C6806 using Tapatalk

    Roof top tent load distribution

In my experience most of the weight is on the rack not the ladder. Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk

Who made this? Or is it custom.......

Same vehicle right? When I asked the owner they said it was based on a Land Cruiser. Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk

JK Habitat No Longer in Production?

Does that mean it can also be mounted to open over the front of the Jeep? I have a roof tent now and one of the best things is to be able to use at the beach or other parking lots. Though I understand the benefits of opening over the rear, I'd get more use out of it if it opened the other...

    Thinking about an RTT.

Its rear opening is even larger than the side doors. The ladder is just too far to the side, and the tent is nearly a foot forward of the top of the ladder. It's an awkward climb in

    Thinking about an RTT.

I tried climbing into my tent from the Gobi ladder exactly once. Granted, I have an Autohome as opposed to the tent you're looking at, but I'm sure the supplied ladder is a much better solution.

FS SoCal JK 1" lift springs and Rancho 7000 shocks

Synergy 1" lift springs. Lift and levels. 1" lift on 4 doors with bumpers, etc. Taller with stock bumpers or on a 2 door. Rancho 7000 shocks. Monotube, strong damping. For 0-2" of lift. Comparable to oem Rubicon shocks compressed, about .5 to .75 longer extended. About 15k on the setup...

Jeep JK spring options... I need some input.

Made the switch from the Synergy setup to OME. Simply needed a stiffer rear spring with the new roof tent. Currently have the 620 rear installed, but I also purchased the 618 rears. Surprisingly, the Jeep rides even better than before even with the stiff springs, so I may leave it as is...
