2020 Ram 2500 and FWC Hawk Slide-In - good combo or potential issues?

Get the Hawk in your bed, put some air in those bags and go! I sit at 9,200# dry in my PW with the sliders, bumpers, Hawk. Thuren/King suspension as you. Been that way for going on four great years.

Hmm. Haven’t been on here in a while and thought I’d see what was new in the RAM HD build arena. Interesting build and build choices. I‘ve got a chuckle on a few. What ever happened to those fancy tie-down thingy’s for the FWC? As a 4th gen AEV Dorkel owner, I would NOT install it again. Why...

    Expedition One Rear Bumper

Meh, I don't have their swings anymore as a had two new arms made custom to clear my Four Wheel Camper. Those latches SUCKED ASS!!! I now have one big 3k Klein over-center latch that secures both swings in one nice shot. The bumper itself is nice, complements the lines, clears the receiver. The...

K5 Camper. My offroad home away from home.

Tell Larry that the guys over on the Portal want him to paint those liners. I'm sure that will illicit some words. :D

K5 Camper. My offroad home away from home.

Second the Tuff Country's, if they can carry all the weight. Wonder in the end if you're going to have to come up with something semi-custom to get it like you want it.

2020 Power Wagon JUXI Build and Trip Thread

Yup, physics are a **********. You want load capacity or do you want articulation. Pick one. I cheat a bit with airbags in cradles in the rear and Thuren front springs, but I'm under the GVWR of an equivalent 6.4, 2500HD, 4x, crew cab, level1 trim... (which I think is 12-13k) And no way in hell...

3rd Gen Ram 2500/Power Wagon Reliability

If maintained, I don't see why 300k+ would be unexpected. I've really not come across many negative comments regarding the 6.4 (some lifter/exhaust tick when cold, diff from 5.7). 6 speed life is probably more questionable vs. the ZF. As to what the interior will be like...

Braided Air Line for Compressor options

OP, once you get your heat resistant leader hose figured out, use nylon air brake lines. Super easy to work with, when warm anyway... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074KD1DCH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    2015 Ram 2500 Carli/Thuren Build W/Four Wheel Camper

If you're doing a FWC in a PW, go airbags with Daystar cradles. Retain articulation and have adjustability.
