What year tundra? First gen, the answer is yes, absolutely. Second, I don't have the experience to answer. Anything you put on there that is around 1000lbs empty over stock will feel too heavy when equipped for use.

Duallies have been used for decades all over the bush in Northern BC and the Yukon for recreation, mining, logging, bush work and outfitting. There's things you have to be aware of like all the equipment we use. They definitely work (and work hard).

@Victorian - the DC Thermal SD4000 12v heater wasn't installed as it did not provide enough heat in the low setting and pulled too many amps (25amps approx.) In the high setting it may have been a decent heat contribution but at 35a it is too much of a draw for my electrical system. Will...
