    David Ellis Canvas Tents

Thanks for the review! I've been very interested in his tents, and love that there are some additional options he's willing to customize. Can you tell me the dimensions of the bag all packed up? Is everything packed into the bag, or are there separate items as well?... (I have a small truck!)

    N. Luna Split Charge and a battery charger...

Ok - so it's not very likely that I'm going to see the 14.4 from the multimeter if attached to the batteries when in bulk charge?... (I know, it must be like trying to explain calculus to a sheetrock wall - I promise, I'm not always this slow! :snorkel:) When I checked on the batteries this...

    N. Luna Split Charge and a battery charger...

Thanks for the reply! So before I hooked up the CTEK, the batteries were showing full on the NL controller, but were definitely separated by the solenoid (the truck has been sitting for 3 days). When the NL sensed the increased voltage from the CTEK, it eventually (after the 5 minute period)...

    N. Luna Split Charge and a battery charger...

So I'm trying to wrap my head around using a CTEK 7002 battery charger and the National Luna Split charge system. I'm running a 125 AH Lifeline as the house, and a 75 AH Deca as the starter. The CTEK is set to 'Normal' which has a bulk charge rate of 14.4 v. It should be noted that when...

    Trinket Draw Questions...

Thanks for the follow up! It seems that using 4.5 to 5 amps for the charge seems pretty close. Can you double check that link?... It's giving me an invalid message. I can attest that running the iPad, while plugged into the Blue Sea (2.1 amp) USB outlet, does drain the battery if the screen is...

What would you want in the perfect mapping app?

Might want to consider a cloud based storage option as well. Nice to know that should a device need to be wiped clean, or worse yet, replaced altogether, recorded tracks and other settings can be downloaded again.

    Trinket Draw Questions...

I knew I was missing something! 2.1 @ 5v makes much, much more sense. With respect to the parasitic draw, is that per dual, or each port? Also, is that only when something is charging on say port 1, there is an extra draw on port 2, or is it more like - each blue sea dual usb charger has a...

    Trinket Draw Questions...

So I'm finally getting around to being responsible, and not just assuming that a group 31 is going to handle all of my charging requirements indefinitely while at camp. Started taking down numbers on amp draw for different items, and approximate length of time they will be used. All was going...

What would you want in the perfect mapping app?

After playing with several apps on an iPad, I ended up gravitating towards Gaia. The overlay feature and their POI's sold me on it. While less 'pretty' and 'cool' than MotionX, I found it more streamlined, and slightly more efficient. The amount of POI's that Gaia includes is staggering, and...

    Dual batteries

Any way you can post a pic of the location inside the fender well? (or pm me if not and I can shoot you over an email address). I've heard of this location before as well, but I think at some point they changed to in the floor of the back seat. I'm thinking that maybe the fender well may be a...

    Great Divide 25th anniversary

If you know where to find any of the trail info, I'd love to hear / take a look at it. I'm two months out from a CO & UT trip, and I'd like to compare notes and see if I'm leaving anything monumental out. :sombrero: Thanks!!

Old Man Emu Suspension now Available for the G-Wagon

Someone posted this on another site with respect to the OME springs. If / when you get a chance to check it out, can you report back? Also, do you have any before and after pics? Thanks!! "I tried the ARB springs (in the garage)...the OEM MB springs up front are around 53cm long...the ARB...
