Easiest way is to get a headliner from OVRLND. You can order it after the fact and have it shipped.

While, Load Range E tires are likely a good idea for supporting the additional weight, in all reality they're going to make your ride worse. Look into suspension upgrades.

first gen tundra wedge/pop camper options ? (post your pics)

The weight difference between OVRLND and GFC is minimal. A base model OVRLND is about 325lbs on the First Gen Tundra. I've added a lot of weight in my build out and upgraded to the Archive Garage setup (new leaf pack, hammer hangers, and 12" shock mounts) and it drives excellent now. I would...

I don't have a positive pressure vent and I haven't had a problem with dust.

I'm a big fan of the OVRLND campers. They are all custom made so you'll maximize space. They have excellent customer service, lots of flexibility and are built like tanks and still very lightweight.

Somewhere around 7'3" depending on if you have the extra bedding option. I'm 6'3" and have plenty of room to stand with the extra few inches.

I'm planning on doing something similar also using 1050 extrusion. I figured I'd drill through the studs and put a bolt that'd get me into a TNUT in the channel. I wasn't planning on putting 8020 on the inside but that could work too. Looking forward to seeing how it goes for you if you beat me...

    Vagabond Outdoors Drifter

If you're not building campers, you should at least have time to answer emails and phone calls. There are excuses for not delivering campers but there is no excuse for not communicating with people who have already handed over a large sum of money for a product that hasn't been delivered on time.

Also seems special that you couldn't comment on their post.

Tent insulation is something you can add later or they can ship later. I don't even know if they're doing Front Runnner doors any more. They haven't proven to be super reliable and they tend to cause leaks. The Tern stuff is definitely higher quality. I switched from a Vagabond order on my truck...

"The Blue" - 06 Tundra DC Limited - Backcountry Camping Build/Adventure Thread

My bed is 65x80". I'm 6'3 so it's more of a N-S setup for me. With that said, one of the perks of the OVRLND is that it's built for the truck so there's no excessive overhang on any sides and I appreciate that when wheeling (my truck is already big enough)

Ham radios. What is everyone using

I use a Kenwood D710G. It's an excellent radio for overlanding because it's got APRS, crossband repeat and a digipeter which can extend my coverage to repeaters/igates when I'm hiking. I also had a Kenwood TS480HX in my old rig for HF with a Tarheel screwdriver antenna but I'm still trying to...

We used 3" HD36-HQ foam. It's pretty supportive and your hips won't bottom out. With that said, it's comfortable but not the most comfortable. Far more comfortable than sleeping pads or any kind of ground sleeping. I don't think I'd go any thicker for closing the top. We have the extra 2" and...

It's roughly 24" and I'm pretty happy with that width. It's wide enough that I can use it to store things, it's wide enough where even my German Shepherd can lay there. It feels like it's enough room for people to sit on each side and still have room, although in the 8 days of camping we've done...

The benches are definitely strong enough to use as a shelf. The shelves (as I've built them) are not strong enough to use as a step. For one, it's just 1/4" plywood. It's also pretty tall with minimal support structure (keep in mind that the entire part of that structure that faces the rear of...
