    Herbie's Chevy Astrolander/ZMB Build Thread

Your friend must be a rock bouncer or just one of those million dollar rig types that picked up an article once and read that. 8 Jeeps, 7 D35s... no issues. As for the GM 8.8... if you try to bounce your Astro up rocks, the rear end will be the last in a series of catastrophic failures.

    Complete Pop top, '95 EuroVan

Just picked a complete pop top from a '95 Eurovan (Winnebago style) that is just a hair too big for my Astro. So, its going on Craigslist today. Anyone here interested? Decent shape, couple cracks in the outer plastic shell (1 repair), canvas is decent (also 1 repair), screens torn a bit. Not...

    FOUND Vans For Sale!

Agreed. If there is no contact name and/ or phone number, I will pass every time. Here in LA, the scammers also put strange prices, like $5006 or $12340. :2:

    Herbie's Chevy Astrolander/ZMB Build Thread

Right on, sounds like fun. On my Jeep, I mounted the pump inside the cab (had a big truck box in the back) to protect it from the world. Then, I ran hoses to quick disconnects in front and one in back. I T'd off the front line to run a real small line through the floorboard and into the gauge...

Outstanding choice Herbie; Viair is the defacto standard for offroad OBAs, IMHO. Which pump did you go with? The tank will let you get away with a lot so you can run a real fast pump with lower duty cycle. Any thoughts on using air pressure to provide water pressure, or do you already have a...

Anyone use their van as their primary commuter?

Thanks man, makes life interesting, especially when I see people mouthing the words "what the F, is that a minivan?!"

Anyone use their van as their primary commuter?

Mine is a daily driver as well, but I do carpool with my wife some days. My commute is about 70/ day @ 13 MPG. Gets pricey, but sure is a fun comfy ride though.

    Newbie AWD Astro Overlander Build

ROAD TRIP! PNW Good Will Tour 2016 The journey began Saturday morning but by the time I actually hit the road, it was more like 3PM. Managed to make my way up to Lake Shasta, CA. Camped out on a blow up bed in the van and even though its insulated, it was COLD AF! It got down to mid 30s, but...

    Astro AWD "Stroverlander"

Finalizing the planning stage, thanks to your input of course. It looks like TnB will probably be ready before me so since we are both working on it we can learn from each other. He proactively got a longer PS hose for the tight one, I'm going to see what it looks like stock and replace as...
