    Yokohama Geolander X-MT

I put a set of these in 35x12.5x17 on one of my trucks that see's mostly off road use and is not a daily driver. I would not have considered them on a daily, as they look so aggressive that I assumed the on-road noise level would be unacceptable. I was shocked when I drove it on the highway for...

    Portable Power Pack

I purchased a Goal Zero Yeti 500x thinking it would be a premium solution to providing power to my Dometic CFX 55IM fridge. Unfortunately, the unit (after testing for two weeks with no problem) would randomly shut down the 12v power outlet (I tried both the cigar plug and the 6mm output plug)...

Gladiator Sport 6M - HD Dana 44 axles??

They are using D44's on all JT's, but the Max tow package comes with the "wide" D44's (and 4.10:1 gears). I don't think that's a change for '21. I have a JT with Max Tow and have really been enjoying it.

Hello - I am interested in your scepter gas cans and spout. If they are still available, I'll take them all if you are willing ship (I'm in Texas).

Good ol' tire discussion - considering 2 options

These are showing as "Severe Snow Service" rated on Tire rack. I would double check that, as I couldn't corroborate that on the General Tire site. I've got them on my '82 Jeep CJ, and really like them a lot. Keep in Mind I'm in Texas, and have never shopped a tire for it's winter rating. They...

    The RME4x4 2020 Gladiator Rubicon

Did you drive or consider the manual transmission? Just curious on your thoughts.

    The RME4x4 2020 Gladiator Rubicon

As a long time owner and aficionado of the 'tail-dragger' Jeep, I'd like to say how awesome your Gladiator looks!! I've been watching them with great interest, and Yours is the exact configuration I would choose. I can't wait to see your build progress and read about your adventures with it...

    Comparison shopping: Colorado, Gladiator, Tacoma

The Colorado ZR2/Bison is a really intriguing pickup that seems to check all the boxes for me. I think it's great that GM is offering a midsize turbo diesel with Lockers, tires, suspension etc. What I can't get past (and I want to), is the bilking that U.S taxpayers took on the TARP deal with...

    MAN KAT on Ebay,

My take is that you are trying to drum up interest to sell YOUR Man truck. Am I wrong?

    New Jeep - Gladiator Rubicon

That is one awesome Gladiator!!! Looking forward to hearing how it performs. I keep trying to ignore them, so I don't do anything crazy like buy one... I'm really hoping the diesel is delayed a long time.

Why aren't more tacoma owners up in arms about their trucks?

I don't question that you climbed a hill and had a problem. I don't question that Toyota does not publish the fording depth. Those are valid complaints, and if you can change the off-road world by forcing Toyota to improve, more power to you. If you are successful, I've got some things for you...

Why aren't more tacoma owners up in arms about their trucks?

Not sure how this relates to the current topic, but... Back in the '80s you would not have gone over 7,500 miles on an oil change, from what I can tell of a 22R Toyota recommended oil change interval. If you only needed 1 quart every 12,000 miles, then it seems strange you would need to "Dump...

Why aren't more tacoma owners up in arms about their trucks?

I totally agree with you on this. I'm wondering if it was the dealer or a Toyota rep who tried this BS with you? I've lost so many hours of my life with Dealerships arguing against their senselessness. However, according to you, this was dis-proven and now doesn't seem to be a part of the...

Why aren't more tacoma owners up in arms about their trucks?

I've been unable to read your website. However, I just don't believe that a Tacoma of any vintage will hydrolock in a couple inches of water. There is more to these stories.

Why aren't more tacoma owners up in arms about their trucks?

I understand, however my comment was based on after 11 months and not hydrolocking his motor, he is still upset over the "fact" that Tacoma's will hydrolock in shallow water. I don't see the Tacoma airbox as sitting or gathering air from anywhere unusually low or dangerous in respect to water...
