    How I carry extra fuel!

It's really not bad at all. When I'm loaded solo or loaded with me and Jules, you can't really tell that it's back there. Here is a full side view.

    How I carry extra fuel!

I've got the Kolpins also. I've been running this set up almost a year now on my trips. I didn't use that big metal bracket, I just used the plastic mounting piece and bolted it directly to my Jesse's.

    Panniers

All joking aside. The Jesse Luggage is the way to go IF you are going to be rough on your gear. I got to talk to Al at the BMW National Rally last week in Gilette. He just swapped to a larger building and it's still pretty much a one man show. I've got the older Odyssey bags (like the one in...

    Panniers

Jesse Luggage? Sheesh... I mean, who in the world would build such a crappy product that one cannot destroy? I mean, just look at the construction and craftsmanship. You really get your money's worth out of. Really, Look at this photo of my friend Ted's bike, that was taken in Mexico...

    motorcycle camping compact gear.

I love my Kermit Chair. It's even survived a Toga party 2 months ago. Did I mention that I'm 6'3 and 280? The PICO's are nice, I sat in one at Cabelas; but I could feel it "compress" when I relaxed. I'm not saying that it would hold me, but it's something about the plastic and metal mix...

    Pictures of Expedition Motorcycles

This was taken on 7/22. We spent just over 2 weeks on the GS. Everything we needed (including her hair dryer) fit into the Jesse's. I carried a small dry bag on top of the rear case for dirty clothes and such.

    Ultimate Adventure Rider Boots

Those Santiago's are nice. I've got several friends that have those. I've got the Stitch CBT Lites. I had the Sidi Disco's but the calf wasn't large enough for me. Here are some comparison pics. The Disco's are nice, but like I said, they were a little too tall for me. The...

    Looking at BMW 1200

I bought one back in June of 2006 and got just under 18k on it now. Sad thing is, I'm only home 2 weeks out of the month. My main thing was to ride 2 up a great bit of time, but I also wanted an offroad bike, so this is what I chose. Don't read into the hype of it being expensive to buy and...

    Multiple gun purchases???

We REALLY do not want to embellish on that topic. A good many people in the US don't really know what happened down here (even though some of it was on the news). We are STILL fighting guns issues in New Orleans (even with the increased crime rates). The other day when President Bush was in...

Expeditions West: (JK) XV-JP Announcement Thread

I just want to say congrats on this. When I first ran across the ER vehicles last year, that Jeep kinda struck me as "odd" but the more I looked at it, the more I feel in love with it also. I keep thinking that, this would be the perfect vehicle for me, Jules and Bubba (our Choc lab). Now...
