I've been looking to get my own cab over camper truck for a while now and have bounced back a couple of ideas, one of them pretty involved, converting a isuzu or Mitsubishi chassis to 4X4 as they are not available in Canada in 4X4 and double cabs.
That was until i found this beauty...
Reviving a bit of an old thread here, but do you by any chance know if the AW450 and AS68RC would be interchangeable?
IE coult the AS68RC be bolted onto a 4HK1 that had the AW450 previously?
I assume I would need the ECU of a truck having that 6sp transmission as well to do the swap.

They specialize in 4x4 Isuzu conversions and make their own rims.
Now they do use a D60 axle in the front for the 4x4 conversion and I'm not sure yet exactly what the WMS is of the stock front axle...

All vehicles I am looking at are pre 2008 as to avoid all of the emissions stuff. Yes you can take it out on newer models, but would rather not have so since that's another cost + risk of fines if they check.
