Ujoint Offroad Colorado van build thread!

Fantastic! I love the finish that you're able to get. My van is overdue. I noticed on your personal van you used an epoxy primer on your Sterling 10.5 as opposed to a self etching primer. Some folks say for bare metal it's an either/or type of thing... have any strong opinions on that?

Would you mine sharing a bit about how you clean and paint your frames as well as what kind of paint you use?

WTB: previous generation UJOR front bumper, '92-'07 E350

I posted on SMB a few weeks ago, but I thought I'd try my luck here. Looking for someone who plans to upgrade to a newer style UJOR (Ujoint Offroad) bumper or perhaps just doesn't need the bumper anymore for a variety of life circumstances. I'll pay you what you paid for it new several years...

The Rig Runner ...a 2010 E350 5.4 DIY Coil Conversion

Nice pics, Raul. I continue to be impressed by where you push that rig. I hope this is not too off topic, but it seems like you built around your rear HVAC unit. Do you use it? Does it blow into the headliner and around the center cutout you made?

Evolution of power output of the 7.3 in 94-03 E350 vans

Interesting stuff! Thanks for posting. I was also able find this link http://www.powerstrokehub.com/7.3-power-stroke-changes.html which seems to indicate that a 9% increase in HP and 15% increase in torque was gained in '98 due to engine modifications other than an intercooler, but it's hard...

Evolution of power output of the 7.3 in 94-03 E350 vans

Hello all, I apologize for another 7.3 thread, but I have not been able to find the answer here or abroad and am hoping somebody can chime in. There is clear information that in the F250/350 trucks, the 7.3 underwent changes in the late 90s that increased the power output by roughly 10%...

    WTB E350 w/ 6" UJOR 4x4, 18-25k

Thanks for your support, Huntermac! I'm surprised that van is still on the market, and the price has become more and more attractive. However, personally, I am not in the market for a sportsmobile. I'm looking for a van that I can outfit myself with a more minimal interior.

    WTB E350 w/ 6" UJOR 4x4, 18-25k

Bump! I have had two vans now in this price range not work out for me and slip away to another buyer. My schedule is complicated for the next month and has been hard to organize cross country purchases. Anyone getting ready to sell their van to make room for that new winter project? Price...

    WTB E350 w/ 6" UJOR 4x4, 18-25k

Good question! I'm partial to their 6" leaf spring lift with improvements on steering geometry. Also, I am partial to the 4wd transmission, nv271 transfer case, and aluminum gas tanks that UJOR conversions usually have. I have a few months to sit and wait on the market, so I figure it's best to...

    WTB E350 w/ 6" UJOR 4x4, 18-25k

Depreciation. I'm looking for a vehicle with the UJOR conversion, which may or may not have been done by UJOR in NC. Also, the vehicle may have tens of thousands of miles on it since the conversion. I don't think my offer range is unfair depending on the circumstances. No, I am not looking for...

    WTB E350 w/ 6" UJOR 4x4, 18-25k

11/28: Bought exactly what I was asking for, thanks for the help! I am not picky about the engine. My preference would be a van that is not outfitted in any way. Must have a UJOR 6" kit. Thanks for any and all leads. Looking to maybe push somebody on to the market who has too many projects...
