    Determining rear shock length

I had the same problem with my 1st gen Tundra when I went to 10" shocks for the extra droop. Stock it took a 8" shock and the 10" shock bodies were just too long with an already limited uptravel. It seems like Tacomas and Tundras have the same problem in that the leafs are designed to ride...

Icon stage one or stage two?

I'm running a pieced together Icon set up on my 4th gen 4runner, Front RR coilovers with tubular arms, Rear 2.0 RR, and overland springs. For me even though it is a daily driver with weekend trips and a few big trips a year the expense is worth it because I like the firmer ride on road in...

    The evolving build

Actually that's a good point. Let me elaborate, it probably depends on how much lift you're running. My truck is set at 1.75” I didn't have any issues with throwing grease or the ribs of the cv boots rubbing before or after the drop but the diff drop did make my diff interfere with my skid...

    The evolving build

Diff drop didn't seem to do much for me so I'd say either way doesn't matter. Extended brake lines are good. I used the tacoma steel braided lines from wheelers off road and they've been great. The reason for using tacoma lines is they use a banjo bolt at the caliper so you don't have that hard...

    First Gen Tundra Bed Dimensions

As far as I know besides the DC box being deeper it is also shorter by an inch or two. I've read on TundraSolution that a DC shell will fit an AC but will be a bit short.
