thanks for the real world application and G2
to avoid the mini-split now i am looking at using the same unit you have used and was privately hoping there was a specific drain provided
the condensate draining off our diesel pusher w/ 3 units on the roof was a bane and cause unsightly stains...
the power consumption of the AC unit is 'low' and assume once your ice cream cooler is down to temp the consumption would go down
AC on high for 2.5 hrs is a great result! congratulations and thanks for the detail
and the power density of the 300 ah single battery is a serious consideration...
we hosed out the inside to be shed of the 20 year accumulation of 'moon dust'
cleaned up real nice
finished the temporary bed platform
drug a mattress from the house inside and hit the road
we brought some more CAD work of representative window sizes and location
still under evaluation but...
bear with me for my diatribe
we have a 160 farm / ranch in N GA
the ground is pretty rough over about 35 ac and we had previously used kubota RTV's as our get around vehicles as walking or riding goats were the only option

high pressure lines
& module heat & air unit are all removed and for sale
this ambulance was from the high desert of durango colorado so they are in good condition

in this way i can mount a drivers side fuel...
GREAT JOB!
this is exactly what i would have gone for if i had not found a 4x4 MD ambulance
the TC product is TOPS in my book
i still may come back to this solution depending on how mine turns out
the TC cab over is a game changer for the footprint and livability aspect
so yesterday we pulled the rear hydraulic generator off and are completing removing the lines
i thought the truck had redundant air but when we dropped the rear tank the bags would not pump up
does anyone know what this is?
it is under the drivers side next to the batteries
would love to move...
a buddy of mine is back in town from a long time away
he has an AC machine and i am at the point to decommission the rear air
so we vacuumed the refrigerant yesterday but we are at a loss to cap the port on the condenser
anyone know what i am looking for?
mine is a 10 lug so they are all yours
im probably going to be 'forced' to purchase new wheels as i have never seen more than a pair for sale 12.25 x 22.5 10 lug
probably save around 300 lbs total, have singles and pick up some mpg by reducing the rpm at cruising speed . . . not to mention a...
this could be a possibility
