Its two rings and I have a dedicated inverter from a 600Ah battery bank. This battery bank only powers my kitchen. I have only used it on test runs to date but it is working out well. I don't see any problems provided we don't stay in one place too long.

I can see that double seals work well on the doors and windows but how do people keep the dust and insects out of the ventilation openings such as bathroom extractor fan, fridge, battery and gas compartments?

My 1300L is not a DOKA but with a large camper on the back I am at 5000kg without any fluids, personal possessions, food, recovery gear, spares etc. Hope that helps.

Can you please talk a bit more about putting shock absorbers between the chassis and the camper.
Will this transfer stress onto the camper?
Is there a reason that MB did not do it?
Will you mount them at the front or rear corners where the movement is greatest?

I had a full load stolen from my square tank while it was sitting on the docks. The locking fuel cap did no good since the float gauge assembly can be removed by a simple twist. :(
