Ford, Mercury and Mazda Owners: Let's see your Rigs

I am about 2.5” lift running 35x12.5r15 tires wheels are 15x8 with 3.75” back spacing. Dixion sold all their stuff to Vegas desert Fab and they now have a full 4.5 kit and a 2.5 wider kit. Brandon makes killer stuff I want to swap to his race kit but don’t want to move away from ball joints...

Small full-featured hard-sided stock trailers modified for slow off-pavement trips: surprisingly rare

The trailer has the Baja package from jayco, comes with a flipped axle and larger all terrain tires. The underbody is fully enclosed, and it came with larger tanks. It handles adverse conditions relatively well for a cheap price tag. The trailer is 3500lbs gross so it floats well enough even...

Small full-featured hard-sided stock trailers modified for slow off-pavement trips: surprisingly rare

We run a jayco 17BH with a similar use case. Park some place a few miles off pavement. Use the trailer as base camp. It has worked very well. I do find i air down the trailer often, I do want to add some shock as well to help better react bumping down the FS roads Sent from my iPhone using...

    Handheld CB, Worth it?

I have 2 of these, and they work very well. I have one hard wired in my trail rig and one in my tow rig. Love the ability to pull the radio out to communicate when spotting others. I was in the same boat. I’m a ham but not everyone else is (weird right) The midland has fit the bill very...

    Chainsaw holder for truck bed

As long as you caps seal well there should be no issue hanging the saw upside down from the bar. I use this chan saw bracket mounted in the bed of my truck for my saws. I also modified and beefed it up to work with my larger 20” and 36” bar saws. http://www.bugoutrack.com/product-details.html...

    Lhanson 1st Gen Tundra Build

It’s cut and reinforced, welded both half’s of the cross members skins together. Should be as strong as the stock set up, but I wouldn’t go run the Baja 1000 with it lol Time will tell though. Easy enough to reinforce if it starts to crack out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Negative haven’t had torsion bars in years. Current set up is a dixion brothers racing long travel suspension with 2.5x8 king coil overs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Ford Ranger suspension question.

Good looking rig, the basket is mounted to Thule cross bars, with tracks and 460 podium towers. The tracks are nutserted to the roof just like to do to add tracks to a canopy. Was fun drilling those holes lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
