Latest update on truck cap status I spoke with a regional guy with SmartCap today. He said they do have a shipment coming sometime in June/July. They currently only have one distributor in the United States who handles all incoming orders that go out to dealers. Regional guy says he has no way...

Ok so here’s the latest…the previously recommended shop in MT has the exact cap for my truck actually in stock (they sent me a pic of it). The problem is, they’ve already assembled it and the shipping cost is approx $1500 (as so they’ve said) So my dilemma, is it worth me driving to Montana...

I ordered a SmartCap through carid.com because they said they had them in stock on April 2. today they just told me it was back ordered indefinitely… I’ve emailed customer service for both carID and Smart cap and I’ve also called and left messages with both places… I fully understand that there...

My previous topper was a Leer…it had quite a bit of flex to it. I did have the “Leer Locker” mounted inside to the roof. It was very convenient for storing cased shotguns during waterfowl season and other outdoor related gear. But it really flexed the roof… even loaded with half the supposed max...

thanks for the reply...our boys are "BIG" for only 13&14yrs old (5'8"/5'9" and growing). I am really drawn to the hard-shells due to convenience and ease of set-up but not opposed to a soft-shell or hybrid

I live about an hour from closest dealer and they don't actually have any display models to look at. So I was online (RSI website) and chose online dealer to get added on the notification list through Carid.com and another site (name slips my mind at the moment).

I’m on the waitlist with a couple different dealers…whoever can get one first will be who I get it from. Fwiw-traditional fiberglass cap dealers do NOT like to give much info on the RSI cap, even if they are a supposed RSI “dealer”; Instead they keep trying to sell me a Leer or ARE cap. Sent...
