For Sale Jeep JK Rubicon wheel will be in Albuquerque

Thanks, but I’m either going to sell my trailer or do a total rebuild. Dunno yet. Running taco steelies on it, so I’m good there. Thanks for the shout out.

Did you end up fining a tent for your trailer build? Or are you going a different route?

    My FZJ80 modest build

It worked well for my needs. Added a 44gal sub tank. I’ve been through Moab, Death Valley a couple of times, and other ventures. I eventually pieced together a 2” lift and 255/85’s after re bushing the entire suspension.

Rear entrance or side? I didn’t see a side in the pics, but looks to have a space for one in one of the pics. Beautiful work!

Land cruiser straight 6 vs V8?

With an 80, it comes Down to maintenance. They are up there in miles, and the creature comforts usually need some repair. That said, I've gone many places in a stockish 80, love it to pieces. Cooling system gets a flush, new thermostat, Toyota parts every other year. Aux cooling fans for slow...

80 series too old for expedition?

310k on the clock. Replaced the motor because the motor was just barely in spec for oil consumption. I don't hesitate to take it anywhere.

Anybody need a puppy upgrade? Need help to re-home German Shepherd mix...

Love the tooth! Lol. I'm sure many would agree with this statement... I like dogs better than most people, and it made my night here at work to read this old thread with such a fantastic outcome. Thank you.

TrekboxX Drawer System for 80 series - finally!!!

Good to see you're expanding and doing well Dave. If it's anything near as nice as what goes in the Hundy's this is a quality piece of kit! I've seen them out on the trail, they are well thought out, and meticulous in detail. That, and Dave is pretty nice guy to boot. Hope to connect with...

    Yokohama geolandar G015 or Coopers?

I've run the STMaxx out in Moab, they did chunk on the side lugs. They do get loud the last have of there life as well. Other than a construction nail, they never lost any air. I'm currently running the AT3 coopers and did a trip through Death Valley with them. I ran between 18-20psi off road. I...

    Rebuild a $2k 80?

Love my 80, but it gets steep. Purchase price was $6500, but I've $18k plus into it. Granted thats a newer power train into it, but still not slight in costs.

A fabricators 80 series build. Starting with the front bumper

That's some beautiful workmanship there. Very unique approach to the rear swing out, or at least from anything I've seen. Did you have to use a heavy plate steel for rigidity, like 3/16 or 1/4 plate? Or is it more a matter of making it kind of boxed in? I also am a fan of the dual sheer points...

100 Series Cargo Barrier, Net, Webbing???

Those nets are nice! If you are traveling with the rear seat up, then Speski barriers are pretty slick. If you want behind the seat, then those nets look really nice.

    WTB: M416A1 trailer axle

Dunno if you still need and M416 axel, but I've got one with Toyota pattern adapters. I'm in San Jose.
