Barn Door for JK factory hardtops

Jeff - there's some guy with a camera stalking your Jeep! Stealing your designs! :) Great photoshoot - can you post a picture of the awning packed and stowed? I bet it packs up small. Also, I've read a few articles that suggest these type of replacement valves as an essential item for every...

Barn Door for JK factory hardtops

Hey Jeff - are you going to sew a custom bag for the awning and poles? I would think you could design something that packs up very nice since the poles fully disassemble.

Barn Door for JK factory hardtops

Eager to see your pressurized solution, Jeff! I considered purchasing one of those Road Shower 4S products, but decided it was just to much extra weight (especially mounted that high). I ended up using a similar portable shower kit from RinseKit, modified to stay at constant pressure with a...

Barn Door for JK factory hardtops

I've tried all sorts of awning solutions in all sorts of conditions, and concluded there's no solution that is perfect balance of cost, ease to set up and protection. The Slumberjack products are incredibly durable and offer great protection and are very lightweight to pack. But they sure...

    Is my Jeep too heavy?

Great data! Thanks for sharing as a benchmark for others. I put an iKamper on top of my trailer, and REALLY like it. Lots of debate, but I think the hardshell RTT designs are better. Especially when set-up/pack-up efficiency is a priority.

Barn Door for JK factory hardtops

Awesome - thanks! Such a great solution for keeping the kit out of the way, yet very accessible. And you don't even need to remove it and spread it all out on the ground to find what you are looking for . . . likely in a hurry!

Barn Door for JK factory hardtops

Jeff: Can you take a photo of the first-responder bag mounted on your cargo-area drop-down rack? The top would flip open and hang down perfectly off the front of the rack, right? Believe me, I've tried a dozen configurations and locations for quick-access first aid gear, and I think that one...

    1) Absolutely LOVE this thread. Thanks to everyone who has contributed (and lurked) - we're all happy members of the Arctic OCD Club 2) I'm spending most of this winter in the tipi tent - am getting really skilled at converting wood into heat, boiling water and single-pot meals - next project...

Tried Mopar? Or maybe US Farathane (who makes most of their grilles, I think)?
