    Private Camping Near Silverton

Hey guys, anyone heading up to Silverton for a little wheeling and wants a bit more private camp area on a busy weekend or something PM me. I bought a bunch of mining claims to build a retirement home on and will sell the rest after some development. Most beautiful place in the US. Monster water...

    2019 Sierra Carnage

Sorry, been busy. Still waiting on my truck, called yesterday and waiting on call back. Ridiculous. Another threat is we are buying a bunch of land in Colorado for retirement, and if it all goes through I will probably have to bow out and start working on it as I need to sell portions to pay off...

    Tire question

Keep in mind the Monty does have an AWD Viscous coupling for highway use. It is extremely sensitive to tire size differences. That being said slightly different wear unless dramatic should be ok. I had one tire a size off one time and it really caused problems.

US made radiator group buy for Spring 2019. Gen 2 3.5 and Gen 1 3.0 V6 Radiators

Problem is these trucks really need a 3 row to overcome the cooling issues off-road related to poor gearing.

    2019 Sierra Carnage

Ok, here was the post I never finished, lol. Gearing plays a huge part in the Sierras. That level of control is fantastic. I simply run a 4:1 Ruby case and that is all it takes. There will still be spots where some throttle and wheel spin will be required still of course, but gears cut the...

    2019 Sierra Carnage

Generally we do put Fordyce at the end other then the " Backwards" year( or operation shell game) where we ran everything backwards instead. That was a hoot.

    2019 Sierra Carnage

Looks like we have some real interest in a 2019 Sierra Carnage. I realize its late planning for this, but with the proposed dates we do have time. I think its easier to plan some place like this where the string can be easily found unlike Face Book. The dates someone proposed coming down from...

    1995 Gen 2 SR Intro

    1. Make sure cooling is up to snuff for wheeling 2. Crank Key should be updated if it has not 3. Of course no chances on timing belt 4. Valve seals may need replaced Other then that and any other old car maintenance, start building!

    2018 Carnage?

Seems like we gave in to reality that every other year made more financial sense(and less stress) for the Carnage. Really hoping to get back in the saddle with trips next year. Even applying for some rafting permits next month if anyone is interested. So how is everyone looking at this point...

Front CV Axles - Factory OEM vs. RockAuto ???

Typical problem with rebuilts is the ball are re-used, but have worn down and are smaller. They then polish everything up and remove more metal...then first trip off road and pow, they blow right away. OEM all the way
