MSR Guardian Purifier BRAND NEW- ALL SOLD

I bought one of these from the seller. Package arrived perfectly, and a few days early. It is exactly as she had described. I have a guardian already, and this one looks unused and as close to new as you could imagine.

Aggressive all terrain or less aggressive all mud terrain?

My thought is always get a good AT tire- and carry real tire chains. Good chains will make even the crappiest AT tire perform better than the best MT tire. Considering the miles that we have to travel to get anywhere, there's always that tradeoff. Chains are a pain to take on and off... tradeoffs.

    Lets talk small generators!

Just to add another 2 cents, the sound of the sportsmen 1000 is a bit... tinnier and higher pitched than say the ryobi 2300 with bluetooth. The Ryobi unit is quieter, and also a bit deeper sounding and thus not nearly as irritating. Just depends on your needs.

    Lets talk small generators!

This is an inverter generator. Its like a low buck honda EU 1000- so it can be about 5-10DB louder than the honda. You barely notice it 25feet away though.

    Lets talk small generators!

I have that one. Yes. Its been pretty reliable for me, but I've only got like 30-40 hrs on it over 3 years that I've owned it. Mine is green but otherwise the same. I don't know what sort of battery your using, or how many you have. There is a limit on charge rate for lead acids, so a larger...

I just need to boil water for coffee, what stove?

Im a bit of a stove lover, so I have many many stoves. You can't go wrong with any of these. However, there's a few things of importance: Jetboil, MSR wind burner, any of those cartridge style are compact and easy to use. however cartridges are expensive for the amount of water they heat. While...

    Jeep Grand Cherokee Overlander

I have an 01 WJ limited with the 4.0 and quadradrive. The later 4.0's have less issues with the head cracking. It does have the weaker transmission (42re) but the better transfer case withe the locking/limited in both the front, rear, and center. Ya, the plastic radiator sucks. The blend doors...

Sidewall strength, tire pressure, and tire quality

If you pump a C range tire up to psi, it won't like it very much, and it will deform and wear down the center as an over inflated tire, and C range tires generally max out at 50 PSI. E range maxes out around 80 PSI. Its shell is designed firmer, and to offer less flex. If your carrying a heavy...

    Getting water into tank

they make the universal RV water tank filler. Its literally like a rubber sleeve and you just push it on over the threads. Wouldnt help much if your getting it from a water pump though.

Sidewall strength, tire pressure, and tire quality

Your absolutely correct on that. Some tires mount with very little effort. Others are like fighting smurfs over smurfberries.

Anyone here stealth park in urban areas?

There's pretty much no way to run an AC without a genny or running your car. They make 12V ac systems, but you need a good size bank for that. (both in batteries and money). 24 hour truck stops are a sure ticket- but in urban areas, you get a lot of pan handlers. Find a noisy area- not noisy as...
