    My 2017 Ford F150

Nice looking Truck. How are you liking that bed rack? I've been thinking about something like that for my truck. And if I'm not mistaken looks like those pictures are from the eastern sierras?

    2017 F150 Exploration/Tow Build

Thank you for correcting me, I didn't know that about the size of the shock making that kind of difference. Also the truck that had long travel on it was a single cab short bed ranger. Possible that could have led to having to constantly correct. The truck had gnarly bad bump steer

    2017 F150 Exploration/Tow Build

On my truck I'd go with the fox coilovers. They're rebuild able, revalvable, and in my opinion better constructed

    2017 F150 Exploration/Tow Build

If you are planning on pushing that suspension all day long, then yes having the reservoirs are worth the money. If you're running back roads on the weekends to get to that fishin hole or a somewhere to unload side x side i dont really think you would need to worry about shock fade or the need...

    2017 F150 Exploration/Tow Build

Personally I'd say go with fox shocks with the external adjusters on them. Then spend the time dialing them in to how you want it to ride. Coming from the desert world of prerunning and baja, long travel kits on a daily get old fast. Don't get me wrong, flying down dirt at 80+ mph is its whole...

    1994 Ford Explorer Build

Amazing build man looks great. Makes me miss my ranger prerunner. Looks like jamul in the background of some of the pictures if I'm not mistaken

    F150 bumper modification

Looks awesome. Would love to put a winch bumber on my truck but don't love the price tag on them either so I may do the same thing now

And if you do its just a good reason to make a set of traction bars for the truck lol

I've known a number of people that have run blocks on the rear and never had an issue with them at all. I think it comes down more to the quality you buy and what you expect out of them. As far as the leafs I wish I had ones like yours then. Back end of my truck always felt like it was going to...

    2006 Mazda B2300 Build Thread

Had an 08 ranger with a 2.3 great truck. I had an explorer 8.8 axle on mine with 4.88's 31" general red labels and a limited slip. Performed great offroad. If you want to run something similar though I would recommend either a 4.56 ratio or at least a 33" tire. The 4.88s were just too tall of a...

Oh and I would suggest sticking with an lsd. Lockers are great off road but if it's mostly hwy driving you're gonna hate cornering. Plus with an lsd you can tighten down the clutches to get pretty damn close to a full locker

    Please help!! Diagnosing a noise...

Exhaust leak maybe. Is it possible that it's a small enough leak that once the engine warms up the metal expands enough to close up the opening until it gets more pressure from acceleration?

Short Day Trip Old Highway 80

94 is a nice drive as well. If you have not seen it yet, look for the book "Highways to History." It has all the old highways in the county and gives a lot of History about all the stops along each of them.
