Currently, a home built M4 if I want to have a long gun with me, occasionally a .35rem lever gun. What I really want is a Krinkov. I need to get a pistol and apply for a stamp to SBR it.. It would be my ideal truck gun though.
My personal preference for anything larger than a Mule Deer is 7mm mag. But I also reload all of my hunting ammo, and will use 7mm mag on deer as well, but will typically down load to something more akin to 7mm-06.. I like to preserve meat.
Many people out there are convinced that .223 is...
My one suggestion would be to start small and work your way up.. Jumping in with both feet into an elk hunt can quickly result in feelings of discouragement. Elk are no easy game to go after. Steven Rinella even mentions in one of his podcasts that he would direct a new hunter to first go...
Well, I bit the bullet and jumped into APRS with both feet.
I went out and bought a Yaesu FTM-400XDR and installed it in my truck with a dual-band larsen NMO antenna. APRS has been somewhat helpful actually already. I like to go hiking and hunting on my own and it gives my other half...
So I finally got around to taking my test last saturday and passed. I got lucky I think, I studied a bunch for the test two years ago and then chickened out and never took the test.
I spent a total of maybe 4 hours studying and taking practice exams and went to the test last minute and luckily...
Very nice. I have a few sigs (P239, 228, 226, 220) and I love them all. The 320 is on my short list of new handguns I am interested in. The trigger is very nice on the 320, much better than some of the other factory triggers I have on other striker fired guns.
Congrats on the new...
BTW.. Diane Feinstein actually has a CCW permit for the state of California. She is the typical elitist where she is good enough to have a means to protect herself, but she feels nobody else is. She is vehemently anti-gun for the masses that she serves, but not for herself and her peer...
There was a beaver keeping me company while I was relaxing on the water. This is 15mins from home which is nice.

I challenge any and all of you to read this paper published by John Lott. There are data points and references for you to check if you want to as well. It is a very well thought out paper and puts the polarizing topic of gun control into easily understandable data...
A lot of this is just round and round bantering saying the same thing.. What it really boils down to is not a "gun" problem, it is a "violence" problem. Violence and violent people have always existed.
John Lott is an intelligent person by many peoples standards, and he was the one coined...
I don't think you will have any issues with the Colorado. By the time the diesels hit the US market, the chassis will have been out for a couple of years, as such the bugs will be all but taken care of by then. Also with the Diesel, its not a new design. Its been around for ages, its just...
If it is not working, then please explain to me how historical gun violence is on the decline, not the rise???
