Always good to have your van prepped for a solid axle swap just in case. I already have 4 wheel drive, but when the E40D goes out the manual swap will be the same if not less than what I would pay for a built slush box.
A friend of mine had a straight six in his E150 with a manual trans from...
I have wanted to convert my E4OD to a 5 or six speed. My thought was to buy a doner F250/F350, I would presume 7.3 IDI or PSD engines would have the same transmission to bolt up to my 1995 PSD. That would basically give me everything I would need to perform the swap. I know there would be...
OH MAN! I have been away for too long. From the pic it looks like you are running front and rear coil overs.....so nice. How does it ride on the street?
I agree with all of the other owners. I DD my E350 as well. I was driving 60 miles per day, that has changed to 4 just recently. None the less, I would drive it 100 if I could, living in SOCAL with the traffic stinks. I love being able to see the traffic in front of me to avoid accidents. Not to...
What kind of intake did you use on this rig? There is literally nothing for Vans unless it gets custom made in a garage. That one is slick, has the heat shield....scoops up cool air...I like it!
I am in as well.....great idea MG.....UJ.....how do you say no to a non-negotiation idea....5 day or 7 day raffle. Might even bring in more than your 25.
Lighting is worth every penny, I appreciate the distance that higher quality lights support. Could save a vehicle, an animal or a Human Life for that matter.
This is an excellent idea and a great source..thank you very much. I don't see the bracket/brackets that mount the sealed beam to the support behind the grill. Did you happen to order anything from this site by chance? Thank you for your input, it's most appreciated.
This is the exact style of lights I would like to go with, I do not currently have the sealed beam set up. Did you happen to have the plastic headlight housings before the mentioned and installed lights shown in your picture?
I have been staring at my headlights for a year. I hate the way they look with the yellowed hazing that the California sun stamps on the majority of headlight assemblies. I tell myself that I can easily replace the plastic housings as I did 5 years ago. I will of coarse have to do this once...
G Money, I haven't had many opportunities to stalk your thread....I truly look forward to see the next best move on your Van Gogh. None the less it needs a little dirt in the fender wells.....I would be howling at the moon to set that Rig in Drive and hit Fort Stevens beach.
