What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Thanks. Give me a week or two and I'll post a write-up. I'm going to take it apart to clean up some rough edges and paint some bare steel, so I'll get some more detailed pics and post a write-up.

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Fab'd a tailgate shelf for my stove from a used datacenter cabinet shelf. Now that everything fits, I need to clean up the rough edges and paint it. Have a molle attached rip-off First Aid kit that will hang on the "bottom" of the shelf.

    seats and seat covers

How "rough" is the surface? I've been considering the Trek Armor courdura and Cover King Ballistic, but have not been able to see either in person. We travel in the Jeep, so my wife and kids will end up falling asleep. I can't end up with anything too harsh...

    Lets see interior mods.

Switches are from OTRATTW.com. Great people to deal with! They can make just about anything you want as long as it's not a copywrited image. Check out their website, and if you have any questions on what switches to order, just give them a call.

    Lets see interior mods.

I replaced the rear bench seat in my JKU with front bucket seats sourced locally from CraigsList. This allows the kids more comfort and the ability to recline during trips. Added two 12v "lighter-style" plugs and a dual USB outlet for rear seat electronics. Made a box and mount to...

JKU as a family overland vehicle

My soft top is very noisy on the highway with my Gobi rack installed...so much so that we will be traveling with the hardtop when we drive to Colorado this summer. No matter which rack you decide on, I would buy it well enough in advance that you have plenty of "shake-down" time to make sure it...

JK front bucket seat in the rear

The MasterCraft Safety brackets worked well for me, except for one issue. I chose to retain the seat sliders to have the ability to move the seats back as far as possible. This raises the seats up a bit too high for my comfort level. My son is 5'10", and it won't be too long before his head...

What width front bumper are you running and why did you pick that one? (JK)

I just ordered Warrior Product's mid width winch bumper. I want a bumper that had integrated fog lights as I find them very useful when it's snowing. I also wanted a recessed winch, and this bumper also has a brush guard for some extra protection. I chose to go with a mid width over stubby...

Overland worthy belts - What is your preferred one?

I have also found the Bison Designs belts to be excellent. Great quality, and since it's a web belt, it has a lot of adjustability.
