    3 Bank Charger, Multiple Vehicles

I have a Pro-Nautic 40 amp 3 bank marine charger that I use to charge my 4Runner (dual AGM Batteries). This has worked well for years (my Diehard Platinum Group 31 Is on its way out after 8 years). My question is since its a 3 bank charger, I'd like to use it to charge batteries on other cars...

    Odyssey vs. Diehard Platinum

I'll add to this. My 2014 vintage DHP 31M is still going strong in my 4Runner. I charge periodically with a good charger (pro-Mariner), and no signs of failure yet (knock on wood).

Charge/Maintain two vehicles batteries with one charger

ok, probably best to just hit them with a charge once a month or so. Thanks for the input.

Charge/Maintain two vehicles batteries with one charger

Hi All, I'm about to relegate my 4Runner to roadtrip/offroading use only from a daily driver. I also have another car that I don't drive often. I'd like to maintain their batteries when not in use. My question is could I connect my ProNautic 1240 3-bank battery charger to both vehicles to...

    Anyone Using Mastervolt AGM Batteries?

I bit the bullet when my DHP31M (Odyssey) started dropping voltage at full charge at almost 3 years old. I had a NOCO genius charger that I used and it wasn't fully charging the battery. I was looking at replacing the battery with a Northstar or X2 31M, but I decided to spend that money on a...

Accessories - house or starter battery?

I have a big main starter battery (31M), so everything is on that. The 2nd battery is for emergencies only, jump start.

2015 TRD Pro using A-TRAC on Hell's Revenge

I've been impressed with the performance of ATRAC on my 07 4Runner. Not as good as a locker, but it has gotten me basically everywhere I wanted to go, and through some obstacles that I didn't think I would get through

    06 4runner 4wd light flashing

When I got mine, the CDL light would flash and flash. I changed all the fluids, then it took 10 minutes or so of engaging then disengaging over and over until it all finally worked. I had to drive around a bit to get the CDL to finally lock. If you don't use that mechanism, it gets gunked up...

Dual battery / solenoid setup fell short on the convenience scale, time for an ACR?

I have my second battery only there for an emergency (no accessories connected) with, hopefully, very little chance to drain both batteries. Personal preference. I have a completely manual system, and keep my jumper cables handy if i ever need to self jump.

    Charliedontsurf FJ Cruiser Build...

I've had my 07 4Runner for three years now. I've built mine with basically the same use in mind as you have (some daily driver with expedition use). It had a mild lift (OME ~2-inch) on when I got it. The first thing I did was upgrade the tires, as the stock p-rated tires were punctured on my...

4th Gen 4runner CB antenna, where to mount?

Mounted mine in a similar location as above using a comet RS 720 mount. Less than ideal but works.

    DOWNSIZED AND UPGRADED

I second this. When i bought my V8 4Runner it had these springs on it with no other weight. It was almost un-driveable. I replaced them with 884s and have no complaints whatsoever.

Case (12 QT) Toyota T-IV Trans Fluid

I ordered Toyota WS fluid a year ago and just now got around to doing my fluid exchange, only to find out they sent me T-IV fluid. Paid $118. Asking $90, Local Pickup in Plano, TX (North Dallas).

I don't see much 200 series here, any particular reason?

For me it was value. Coming from a 1996 80 series (which was fantastic off road), I was looking for something roughly 10 years newer. That left either a 4Runner or 100 series (know this is a 200 series thread). Comparing similar 2007 4Runners vs. 2007 100 series LC, the LC was roughly double...
