2012 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited ready for Overland

Selling my 2012 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited with lots of upgrades. The reason the price is so low is it is high mileage at 157k and is also a Flood/Restored Title. This was a Texas Hurricane Jeep that was considered a total loss when the hurricanes came through Texas a few years ago. But this...

Tearing down trailer to fix issues. Have some questions and need some advice.

Well the exterior is once again finished. Hopefully this time will be the last time. Really enjoyed trying PMF. Hopefully it’s as good as people claim. If so I should never have to worry about it again. Super happy with how it turned out. I like it better than the Raptor liner. Sent...

Tearing down trailer to fix issues. Have some questions and need some advice.

Thanks everyone for your help. I think bondo will have to be my go to for filling all my counter sunk holes for my screws. I don’t have the time to get epoxy and not sure how easy it would be on a verticals wall. I think bondo would work just fine though. I have it 90% reskinned then I’ll fill...

Tearing down trailer to fix issues. Have some questions and need some advice.

Is there exterior grade 1/4” plywood? I’m pretty sure the T111 doesn’t come that thin. 1/4” is as thick as I can go on the sides because I’ve already cut my bottom board on the frame that size. If I go any thicker the plywood will hang out over the metal frame. And how hard is it to apply epoxy...

Tearing down trailer to fix issues. Have some questions and need some advice.

As some of you may remember I posted on here a few weeks ago about some plywood cracking I was having since I made a huge mistake and sprayed Raptor Liner over untreated 1/4” Baltic Birch plywood. Now I’m paying the price. The Raptor liner dried hard as a rock but the wet weather we’ve had and...

Raptor Liner on wood sides trailer not holding up? How can I fix it?

The Filon would be nice but not sure I want to spend $700 on it. I think I could aluminum sheet it cheaper than that. I think I’d Ned about 30ft to cover my entire trailer. And an 8.5ft by 30ft roll is around $700. Considering just either using FRP that’s about $33per sheet Or maybe...

Raptor Liner on wood sides trailer not holding up? How can I fix it?

Thanks for the help. I’ve also been doing some Google research and people are saying you can purchase 5x8 sheets from Lowe’s of FRP. Not the Filon stuff your showing but actual FRP. Some say that it is not recommended for outside use but seems most are posting results contrary to this. One guy...

Raptor Liner on wood sides trailer not holding up? How can I fix it?

Where could you source this material? This sounds much better than having to sand down my entire trailer and start over. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Raptor Liner on wood sides trailer not holding up? How can I fix it?

So I built a custom off road style Teardrop trailer and decided for exterior to use 1/4” Baltic Birch Plywood. After the trailer was built we filled in all the screw holes with bondo then sanded the wood and sprayed the bare wood with Raptor liner. It when on think and dried super hard. I...

What side of your vehicle to deploy your RTT?

Perfect. Thanks everyone for the responses. I had a homebuilt trailer that my boys and I built a few years back that we put a RTT on top of and we had it fold out towards passenger side but recently I’d seen a few different vehicles with the tent over the drivers side. I kinda just figured that...

    Costway Fridge

Been considering the ARB but since realistically I’ll probably spend less than 20 days per year using a fridge I might just go this way and save over half price. Seems like it has great reviews. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

What side of your vehicle to deploy your RTT?

I am going to be mounting a Smittybilt Overland XL RTT on my Jeep JKUR and was wondering what the preferred side for deployment overhang should be? Drivers side or passenger side? It’s to big to come off the back so it will have to overhang one of the sides. What’s your preferred side and why...

Best place to buy a fridge?

I’ll look into the costway also. I don’t really have to have name brand as I know most of these are probably made in China in the same warehouse then just branded differently. But I could be wrong also. Thanks for the tips. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
