    The Utilitarian-Camper 2nd Gen Tacoma

Where did you get your CAD model of the Tacoma? I'm doing some of my own design work and it would be really helpful to have that. Your flatbed and camper are well designed and executed. Your dedication to your projects and the time planning really shows!

    Herbie's Chevy Astrolander/ZMB Build Thread

Also, when I lifted my Astro I extended the bumpstops with spacers. I cut lengths of tubing and welded caps to either end. On one end I welded a nut to the inside of the cap so that the bumpstop could screw in. On the other end I threaded the plate and screwed a bolt in from the inside and...

    Herbie's Chevy Astrolander/ZMB Build Thread

"TrailTop" modular trailer topper building components

I'd build something between 11 and 12. I like the door on the back and I'd add fold down beds to the sides for kids. I'd also use the parts to make a custom sized nose box. I've thought about using them to make a custom box that will fit two bikes and go on a trailer hitch so that the bikes...

"TrailTop" modular trailer topper building components

This is very similar to what I'd like to build in the near future but I'd add two fold down platforms on the sides for kid sized beds. My goal is to have something no bigger than my 4 runner slip stream when folded up but still comfortably sleep 4. I also want a small area where I can stand...

1999 AWD Astro Van-Lifted-$4000-Santa Cruz Ca

mtnmike- Unfortunately the rear bench does not move to the middle position. Also, a mid bench from another van would not swap in without significant fabrication. The bench seats mount into recessed pockets. The captain's chairs mount with protruding studs. I looked into making the change but...

1999 AWD Astro Van-Lifted-$4000-Santa Cruz Ca

Mtnmike: The locker is the factory GM rear Gov-loc. This isn't the best locker by any means but it does function. Having lived in snow country on a 3/4 mile unplowed driveway I have seen its benefit. It takes some wheel spin to lock but once it does it stays locked until the tires find good...

No rust issues. I haven't had any problems with rust on the fasteners I have touched for the suspension work and the body and chassis are rust free.
