BINGO.. I posted mine up.. it was a hobby, now it is like my Ariel Atom.. I still have it, but only drive it maybe a few 100 miles a year... buyers are specific, so make sure when you purchase, you are good with keeping it or having these value discussion or even just giving it to a neighbor...

You can tow easily and cheap.. just make sure your buddies have a MTV also... and have some bbq/beer around.

I know people who dreamed their whole life.. then they die.. I think everyone I know just work, take a break on weekends to dream/tinker, then go back to work till retirement.. they tinker and dream the whole way to retirement.. poor guy.. I can understand that..

I have purchase 2 of these and have one stripped, painted, lizardskined, A/C almost completed (have all parts) inside exchanger is done, pulley installed.. task is much more than expected.. if anyone interested.. shoot me a text. I am up for trade, selling.. etc.. I will keep on working on...

Any idea why one vehicle would have a (Q) Code and one would have an (A) Code, if they are both M1088A1's?

I am trying to verify this also. I do know each military vehicle goes through a DLA Disposition classification. I have found 2 FMTV both same models M1088A1, but one has Demilitarization CODE A, and one has CODE Q. See info from this site to decipher...
