The Calmini lift is basically a body lift. You don't gain any performance just some tire clearance.
Also Calmini doesnt have the best track record so if you choose to make a purchase with them make sure you protect yourself.
Additionally the Calmini kit won't work if you have HBMC.

I wouldn't say that the Tundra aftermarket is huge. In general, yes, Toyota platforms have more global support and more US support. The Tundra (and Sequoia) really don't have much more support than Nissan's Titan from aftermarket off road and overlanding companies.
The Titan has a respectable...
The Titan is an attractive platform for the same reason the Armada or Frontier are drawing interest.
Compared to its Toyota counterpart it is generally less expensive to purchase and the specs are very nice.
However, with the automotive industry facing its current struggles (all...
@e61overland Are you doing anything with the stock LCAs while your swapping springs?
I remember leeleatherwood did a reinforcement around the LCAs on his QX56/80 since the stock ones are a bit flimsier than those on the Patrol.
For whatever reason it seems Nissan opted to keep a mostly...
Went to a lakeside cabin with my wife and our 2 and a half year old son. We had an awesome time.
The Armada is a 2017 that's new to us and it was excellent for us. We're really happy we got the armada and it will be a vehicle that's with our family for long while.
A picture of the Armada at...
Hey E61Overland when you say the truck is substantially lighter do you mean vehicle curb weight or the springs? The listed weights are nearly identical. 5577-5958 lbs for the armada and 5755 lbs for the patrol. Guessing the weight range of the Armada has to do 4x2 vs 4x4 versions.
Let us know...
Definitely some helpful advice in here.
I'm going to keep it stock and just run with the A/T tires for now. There isn't anything we jave planned coming up that will really require a major lift or anything.
I think I will be moving forward with a goal of some minor upgrades like armor in the...
Hi everyone,
I just got a 2017 Nissan Armada.
I've been wanting one for about 3 years, pretty much since our son was born I knew that we would quickly outgrow the old crossover I had.
Originally I had wanted a Sequoia because of the "Toyota quality" but quickly found that the Toyota Tax is...
My guess would be since Ironman 4x4 advertise it as a 1.5" lift which could be accommodated by the stock UCAs. They don't really mention that the kit is adjustable and that most people will probably get 2-3 inches out of the lift unless they specifically tune everything down to get closer to the...
