what is the tongue weight?
I built a trailer using an S10 bed but welded up my own frame and used trailer torsion axle.
for what you describe if the weight is distributed well then a sway bar might fix it.
had a come along in my head instead of a land anchor for some reason.
but that got me thinking about making an anchor base that could attach to a highlift.
looks like someone has already done it
may as well update - I ordered the ARB and it is 2000x2100 - so smaller than the ironman (2000x2500)
not a big deal but makes me wish that i had bought the ironman.

if that cross member is also the 3" c channel then you should be fine.

there is a preceedure for patching sidewall damage, but yes nobody wants to do it anymore - it actually involves cutting out a larger hole and repairing it with 2 part tire vulcanizing rubber compounds and reinforcement patches.

you have a 12k winch already - so anything that you would use a pullpal for would be short pulls most likely to the side for stability... the hilift can be used for that same function.
it sounds to me like for what you want to do the hilift can do what the pullpal can do, bu the pull pal can't...
