I would like to see this package on a JL.
I've always been a minimal lift and big tire kind of guy. Just give me a leveling kit and 37s on a Mojave JL and I'd be a happy camper.
I would also like the seats from the High Altitude, but I'm not willing to pay for those.

Were there deep footprints at the racetrack when you were there? Because there were when we were. Someone had walked out around the island and back making two tracks that were an inch or two deep, and it was terrible to see.
Yes the 4.0 makes a higher percentage of it's total power down low in the rev range, but by 1500rpm the 3.6 makes more torque than the 4.0 makes at any RPM, and by 3000rpm it makes more power.

As long as you only bring what you need and don't get caught up in the "but what if X happens? We should bring Y, just in case." game a JKU/JLU will be a great camping vehicle for the 3 of you.
Re-gearing to 4.56 or 4.88 will help you maintain or slightly improve your current power feel when going to bigger tires, but based on what you're saying (32" or 33" tires and looking for power on the highway) I think you're on the right track with the supercharger.

The Gladiator has a 9 inch longer wheel base than the Colorado or the Tacoma, and about 5.5 inches longer overall. (these are all in the 4 door short bed configuration)
It's also the most expensive when fully equipped.
