Did you get your Camp Mate dimensions? I have a Camp Chef Everest and a Coleman PerfectFlow (basic 2-burner stove). The Coleman fits fine, the Everest is too big. The measured dimension is about 21.5" - there is a lip on the top of the Camp Mate, too. With the Coleman on top I have enough headspace for my cooking utensils (spatula, serving spoon, etc.), a oven mitt, and a couple other odds and ends. It's specc'ed out to be big enough for the old fashioned dual-fuel Coleman stoves, which are fairly tall when closed.
