Things have slowed down a bit. Rain has kept me from trying out the new RTT but I'm hoping to go this weekend to try it out. Still have a little bit of rubbing and am considering just removing the inner fender liners.

so today I worked on a tent a little and got my wheels and tires! I had to trim a little bit of the inner front fenderwells and they still slightly rub on the front of the front wheel wells. I'll do some more work on them tomorrow.

so after moving the tent back it very much limits how much the rear cargo door can/will open. As much as I hate to do it.....it looks like I'm going to be putting a trailer together. I'm going to keep the Crosstrek for at least two more years and this is not going to work out the way it is...

So after some feedback from some experienced people with RTT's I was advised to move the tent rearward to negate any lift from wind on the front end of the RTT. So I slid it back 12" and bolted it back down. Still no word on wheels/tires. ugh

yeah in retrospect an Outback probably made better sense for me too but I do like the Crosstrek.

So I got off of work a little early and put the tent on the Crosstrek by myself. It about killed me but I got it up there.
