How would you outfit this custom LJ?

What is the white frame made out of? Looks a little like painted wood but I figure fiberglass for you? If it is fiberglass, what is the inside lip made of?

ITTOG's Truck Camper Build (was 6' x 12' Trailer Conversion)

The result after two layers have been applied. If you noticed the black pigment in the supplies picture you can see here I forgot to use it. Now I have to decide if I want to paint the fiberglass or add another layer of epoxy using the pigment. Anyone have any experience you can share that would...

    My Journey

Great shots of the wheat fields with the dogs. I loved them. I don't believe I have ever seen such deep green wheat like that.

ITTOG's Truck Camper Build (was 6' x 12' Trailer Conversion)

Well, its done and turned out good enough to meet my requirements of water proof and strength to prevent damage to foam. But there are some issues. I will address all of it in a post with pics. This is after cleanup.

Yeah I have read it. Not sure I remember everything. I plan to thicken the epoxy like recommended but not sure how it will work so I wanted another option. Sent from my Pixel 6 Pro using Tapatalk

ITTOG's Truck Camper Build (was 6' x 12' Trailer Conversion)

I hope to fiberglass the bottom half of the camper this weekend. Given I have to do horizontal and vertical spots at once I plan to wrap some tubing in saran wrap to help keep the epoxied glass in place. I hope it works.

    My Journey

I went through pain management shots first. That may have been because of my back issues and I am always getting shots? The shots were no help and then I did PT. After the PT, surgery. Have you had an MRI? That is what finally revealed surgery was required. Given your mountain hiking I would be...

ITTOG's Truck Camper Build (was 6' x 12' Trailer Conversion)

Not yet. I am almost 10 weeks post-surgery. Next big milestone is 12 weeks, which is when I should have full range of motion and get to begin doing things like very short and slow running, biking, etc. Full recovery is six months. Things are going so well though that I am going to have surgery...

Funny you commented about the shock leak and not how bad it was bent. Then bend would have been my largest concern. :)

    My Journey

I have multiple problems with my hips. What I was experiencing was burning that turns into pain on the outside of the hip. As it became worse, I would sometimes get groin pain and numbness in my feet. Laying down was the only way to mitigate the pain so every day I would wake up feeling good but...

    Rig w/ boat Pics

I find the title of this thread incorrect. There are not very many boats shown but yet there are 16 pages of kayaks. Boat and kayak are not synonyms. ;) I guess this is kind of like camping habitats: RV, Fifth Wheel, Travel Trailer, Pop Ups, Truck Campers. People use the first three...

Thanks for the links. I will have to investigate them if the time for Camper 2.0 ever comes. It is. I am surprised how solid it is.
