This is the 8th van that Ive built. Went simple rather than elaborate this time. Going to live out of it this summer while working in Grand Teton and Yellowstone. Tough life I know.

I had the "big square top" on my last van and absolutely loved it.

Sadly lots of people are having their vans broken into. You may be further ahead to leave the paint the way it is to deceive the criminals into thinking its something other than what it is.

Why not encase your spherical shaped tank inside a square housing and then mount it to the framerail?

Oh, the awning is the large ARB one. It does not have extended poles, it just leans out at an angle. Water actually runs off better that way so no issue. I love it by the way.
