Wow $200 for a horse for just the last third of the switchbacks? Someone definitely took advantage of that situation. Glad to hear everyone made it out ok though. That can definitely be a grueling hike depending on the time of day and temperature.

I have camped in that exact spot at Havasupai. That is one of my favorite places to go. Planning my 5th trip there next year!
