Since the ATO battery hold down will not work for my chosen configuration I am building one that will work for my set up.
I built the design using cardboard transferred the image to the sell and rounded out all the corners. the offsets are to match the battery lay out while supporting dual...
With the ATO base plate installed as per the instructions, you can see the spacer I installed at the lower fuse box mount.
This step is unclear in the ATO instructions, they speak of the 1/4" bolt that passes through the inner fender well bu use of a pre-existing hole. Here is a clear picture...
Hello,
So after having a dual battery system in my JKU I could not see not having one in my Tacoma but there are limited options. I am not a fan of Optima battery, so when it came to the ATO try that was a huge take away. The other dual option will not work on my Tacoma due to the ABS pump...
Can anyone share some pictures with me, I can not find what I’m looking for. Specifically a Leer camper 100XR. I got my shell used and it is missing the tailgate seal appears the mount is broken off.
pictured above is the rear glass from my shell, the fiberglass strip at the bottom is what...
Picked up a camper shell today, guy had it locally on Ebay for $250. I did not ask a lot of question's other than any damage other than corners. Was a fair deal came off a 2005 Tacoma so I knew it was older. Ordered replacement shocks, got to replace the gasket and have it paint which would be...

Thanks, day one but I am happy with it. Pulls my baby tear drop just fine, tear drop is 1001lbs dry 5'x8' I did extend the tongue on it so my JKU would pull it and not hit the rear tire. Looking at it now I may cut it off and go back shorter.
Thanks to all who helped in my previous post, I took your advice and went with the 2014 TRD Sport with 58k miles. I have not put any miles to speak of on it, just drove it home about 10 miles. Truck is super clean, I really like it but it has a cheap lift I was not able to get info from it...
Well 99% of my use is gonna be a baby hauler, two french bulldogs and a little girl due in May. I'm very excited can wait to meet my daughter hope she likes the truck or she has to go.
I have no need for a locker most of my time in 4wd will be fire roads a log trails accessing no RV camp...
Well everyone thanks for the input. I just paid for the 2014 TRD Sport Olive Green one. It has 58k miles
The other serious option was a 2013 TRD Offroad with 84k miles. Black with camper shell not the one pictured but basically a replica and AUTO. After spending the entire day going dealer to...
