    Unimog demand

Mogs will always be the coolest rigs. I wanted one before I got my LN2. But they are pricey!

    1120 AF Build in Norway

Thanks :) but I need to redo a few things plumbing wise, I still need quite a few metric - imperial fittings, the 12mm JG fittings do not have that many native options for 3/4 and basically nothing for NTP threads..

    1120 AF Build in Norway

Last weekend I mounted up the electrical, not 100% finished and might need to redo the vertical conduit idea.. the 5000VA inverter is a beast, only just fits.. Had be be a little careful using the self taping screws as they produced a lot of shavings getting into all sorts of components. Some...

That hydraulic pump is massive! Good progress, feels really good getting the FD box off I know, next step is stripping off the redundant wiring, we had about 60kgs worth!

    1120 AF Build in Norway

Got a bit done this past week as I am able to hobble about a bit more on my leg, general water system and getting the framing done. Pic heavy post. U-shaped sofa completed, a little change of plans with system layout, no batteries etc will live here anymore. Seeing how strong and light these...

For anyone interested in the size difference between 24 3000 and the 5000 model... It's quite a bit... The overall electrical install on Gertrude has changed quite a bit now. More details coming when I do the actual install..

    OM 366LA Starting current peak/sustained

Yes, I saw 4.6kw somewhere when I looked up the part number. So 100Ah 24vdc at 3C will be more than sufficient. That's continuous too. Peak is 10C..

    OM 366LA Starting current peak/sustained

Ill be running the Winston dedicated starter batteries, from what i can tell they are just regular Winston cells, they have no BMS and my 90Ah 12v has been working great now for ages in all temps in the Range Rover. They assure me that wired in 2 run in series will be fine and offer much more...

    OM 366LA Starting current peak/sustained

Hi, Does anyone know or better have measure the peak sustained current when starting an 366 engine? I have torn out my main battery cables to replace them and am spec'ing up a lithium battery for the stater and cabin and need some C values.. should have measured this before hand but I only just...

    1120 AF Build in Norway

We set out in the middle of November for a month long SUP surf trip to Gran Canaria, unfortunately I ended the trip by breaking my right leg in 5 places at the ankle and knee, so truck building is a bit behind schedule until that heals up. Good time to order the rest of the heating components I...
