This build just keeps getting better. :) Have you thought about a skid plate for the water tank underneath? If nothing more than a guard from rocks getting kicked up by the FJ? I don't know if you wheel the FJ hard or not, but it would really be a bummer to crack the tank while out in the wild.

That is an awesome trailer! Can I ask how big the main box ended up being? And the tires - they look like 35s?

RockBox in California does that too. Basically an M416 style. I've seen them bolted directly to truck frames (in place of the factory bed), or slide in style in bigger full size rigs.

My XJ was built for rock crawling, but I'm using it more for overlanding. Its on 35s, Dana 44s front and rear, and 4.88s gears. 7.5" Rubicon Express lift. My only compliant is that its a dog on hills on the highway. Other than that its great. Running BFG AT KO2s as well.

I run 35x12.50x16 BFG A/T KO2s on my XJ. Did a 1,000 mile round trip on the highway on them- road fine. Worked great in the dunes too air'd down to 15 PSI.

I have Trucklites in my Wrangler. (previous owner installed them). They are wonderful. I'm going to upgrade my XJ to Trucklites when I have the money.

Any word on price yet? My XJ might be in need of a new engine and this one has my attention. At $9k they can keep it though - I can buy an another Jeep for that.
