Always hurts to fill up 250$ to fill up my F150 up in Canuck Land. I drove em all, and I just bought what I like best. You can play opinions and reviews all ya want, BUT it all is neat meaningless if you don't like the vehiclr.

4WD is just another tool. It can help get you out, or help take you to far. if you have the platform, try it before you modify it…if you know of a not so remote place to test it all the better. I live in Newfoundland Canada, and unfortunately we do not have a lot of trees or other winching...

Lol Diesel where I live would equal out to 60 cents more a gallon then Gas. So it would need to be a bit more then mild mpg savings

Lol....ain't no off road courses, winches courses, recovery courses up here. I use experience from growing up on a farm and getting the tractors out, or the trucks....or trying ro get the mechanic truck down a tractor trail .... Your right that a winch is useless with no anchor point's but...

One, there are very few trees to winch/rig off. Two, a 9500lb winch may be overkill, but an 8000lb winch was burned out by a buddy doing a recovery of a nearly bone stock 2 dr Jeep Wrangler. 3, when I am out of cell range 150km down a 2 lane highway, 10km down a gravel road and 5km into a...
