I know nothing of these, but neither come up often, and the prices sure seem reasonable. Not...
Years ago, yes, in the mountains in Colorado, a guy's overhead camper blew off his pickup truck, he went back, found it upright, wife and two kids inside were just fine. And, yes, it was tied down correctly for the time.
A couple of things....
The gas 6.0 liter in the US first came out in 2004, I ordered one in fall of 2003 and waited a bit. All US NPRs are auto's last I heard.
The thought of avoiding the opaque roof seems a bit short sighted to me. There's ample framing up there to put in a plywood top and...
The boxes made to fit under a flatbed truck are available, you'd likely use them turned 90 degrees, however. Many sizes, and often used on Craigslist and other sources.
I take it that the above was meant to be lag screws. I've used many brands over the years, and the among the best in my experience has been Spax. Two cautions, however. First, I'd want to use hex heads because they'd be reused for a very long time. I've not had very good luck with reusing the...

I think I understand the point, a shovel is a huge benefit in many...

Have not been there, but every story I've read tells me that you are not allowed to swim there. The only access is a bus that makes trips to the Arctic Ocean, and you have a few minutes to be there, dip your toes in, and get back to Deadhorse. No private vehicles allowed.

Not the same box, but NRS sells a lot of things with overlap in this and several outdoor communities.
